£8,100 distributed to Lyme Regis Bingo Association member organisations

Following another successful year, Lyme Regis Bingo Association distributed funds totalling £8,100 to the 6 local organisations which comprise the Association. Lyme Regis Over 70s Christmas Lunch Fund, Lyme Regis Christmas Lights, Lyme Regis Football Club, St Michael's CE Primary School PFA, Lyme Regis and Lyme Regis Foodbank each received £1,350.

Michaela Ellis, Bingo Association Chair commented “It’s brilliant to be able to distribute such significant amounts, providing much welcome financial support to the member organisations.

“Bingo remains a popular game, providing a fun and light-hearted way to escape the stresses and pressures of daily life.

"It’s wonderful to see some new faces as well as our valued regulars at the Woodmead Halls on a Thursday evening.

"We are grateful to all those who come along for a fun night out as each time they play they are helping raise vital funds for groups within our community.”

Cash bingo is held every Thursday evening at the Woodmead Halls. Doors open 7.30pm with eyes down at 8pm. Bar open. Children welcome if accompanied by an adult
